Please........when you give a 'heads up'.........

Post by RAF_Quantum »

....can you show us a picture of what you are alerting us to?

How many times do you see a 'heads up' for an aircraft that you've never heard of and don't know what it looks like? I wonder if those folk that give a HU to something new, could please include a screenshot in thier post. Invariably when you find it, there is a image of it, so please show it to us. On Flightsim the larger images are usually buried in the 'view ' page of the file in question and on Avsim there are usually links for larger pics next to the thumbnails. All you need do is right click on the picture > properties and then copy the url of the picture. Then when you post here, use the img function and paste in the url that you've copied, et voila! we can all now see what you are telling us about. It saves us all having to go to the sites individually to see what the thing looks like. :)

Regards

John

Thanks for that John, good advice

I often run out of patience and give up following the trail of links...

I second the appeal. In those cases, though, I do a Wiki search of the aircraft and can usually see a pic. It's better than nothing, but a pic of the sim model would be nice.

Also it would be nice not to link to another forum that requires registration to view the page ;-) Or at least a warning.

If you could also tell us which sim version it's for it would be most helpful. FSX, FS2004, FS2004 but will work in FSX, something like that. :kissu:
