I agree that it looks very unnatural.

I have similar problems with 'stills' photography.
In order to get motion blur of props, I need a shutter speed of 1/250th Sec or lower. Even with Image Stabilisation, this can result in a large proportion of shots turning out blurred :-( , when using a lens of 600mm.
No such problems with fast jets, where I can use the fastest shutter speed available :)
