Re: AS B-24 first pics...
indeed they are Danos base textures. i simply removed the US marks and added some RAF ones, but it seems Phil at alphasim say i am not allowed to do this. he seems to have a new repaint policy, where i am NOT allowed to use danos base textures and must make my own. strange way to promote sales if you ask me

Re: AS B-24 first pics...
Just to play devils advocate.. no new repaint policy has been stated nor have you personally been told you aren't allowed to use AS paint kits.
I'm happy to see the paint kit getting some mileage. :flying:

ok, but his attitude is not very nice, and he needs to learn he WILL sell products off the back of these RAF skins, as guys here as said they will purchase the model if there are some RAF skins

The RAF and RAAF paint jobs will persuade me to make a purchase, the first in some time. I find it odd that all the 'default' paint jobs are USAAF. If I am not mistaken, did not the RNZAF have B-24s for a time? Also, although the window arrangements were different, the RIAF (India) used them well into the 1960s, these would have broadened the appeal. As the US customers are feeling an econmic pinch at the moment.
As far as any disagreements over use of textures, can these be made at the AS (or UKmil) sites, thanks muchly :kissu:

Ah, but.. think of it this way.. had I painted an RAF, Kiwi, or RN bird.. and the windows and arrangements were different- would I honestly NOT be hearing about it by now?
I've learned not to fudge things- it's not worth the hassle. There's nothing wrong with customers painting a slightly inaccurate bird but I don't think it's in my best interests.. for release, anyhow :drinkers:

Good point Dan, I like the Coastal Command schemes, but they should feature radar and 'Leigh Light' searchlights etc., so I can see your problems.I've learned not to fudge things- it's not worth the hassle.
