I don't know either, really  I can't think of any manner of using it other than as wallpaper. I suppose I was wondering how much you would charge for a digital copy without a watermark. But then again, once you've released one copy, the buyer could maybe make posters or something out of it and make millions!

Microsoft would find a way of licensing a single copy which would self destruct if used for any other purpose

I assume from your answer that you're not a professional photographer but it would be interesting to know how they sell their shots and what the buyers do with it. I suppose you have to a have a EULA to which the buyer legally agrees :dunno: Perhaps somebody else here knows how it works.

So - I think my question is: how much would you charge forum members for a digital download of unwatermarked pictures for wallpaper if they agree to use them for no other purpose?

And could you trust any of us? Me, obviously. But some of the others are a bit dodgy ...

Ian :)

Nothing to do with money, I just don't want some scumbag trying to pass them off as their own, and you never know what kind of weirdos hang around these parts... :worried:

But seriously, seeing as you've asked nicely, I've uploaded a rework of that head on shot, and another requested one... at least I think they've uploaded. Copyrights still there, but much smaller and in the corner (probably completely out of the way on widescreen).

Just need mayagrafix to notice...

Yes he is! Don't tell him about the uploads - the posters will be on sale on his market stall by Monday! Image

Thanks a lot for the gesture, Tweek. It's really appreciated. It's purely so that we can enjoy your brilliant photography at its best.

Now, where's that mayagrafix gone Image

Brilliant shots, I got my Degree and lived in Lincoln for 4-5 Years. Not once was I lucky enough to see any big birds coming in so close though, only over my house when there were stilla good few thousand feet up.

What a cracking picture, full of power and grace. How beautiful is that aeroplane? Image

Thank you again, Tweek, for making the pics available to us and to mayagrafix for hosting them.

I've just noticed these - I was sat at the lights on the A15 at the time.... (if it was the same day :) ).

Yeah - was a great sight.
