Abingdon Air & Country Show

Post by Chris558 »

A very grey start to kick off the 2008 Air Show season, and so with the weather being touch and go, it was a last minute decision to go to my nearest and local show...Abingdon. Mainly to see AA's Dakota - and I wasn't to be disapointed. I must applaud the Dak crew for putting on a very spirited display. So, quality not brilliant, but here's a few.........

I've not been to an Airshow at 'Abbas' since the last RAF one in 1990! So it was nice to set foot here again after 18 years!! I think there were a few no-shows, but I didn't get in until gone 2.00!!

Great photos ! Interesting to see a Dakota and Pembroke wearing essentially the same paint scheme. Hunter is a nice contrast, too.

Yet ANOTHER Abingdon show passed me by  Not that I'd have been able to go on a bank holiday weekend.. I could have been a lot more frustrated knowing it was happening!

Tks for posting Chris ;-)
