That's Flight Environment X, not Real Environment Xtreme. ;-)DanKH wrote:Well apparently I misread before as I now see that FEX (Flight Environment X) is available now....

Yes sorry I know I was a bit OFFTOPIC
But someone mentioned the FSX-version and this is the one. The same guy/Team that makes them. So that's why.

Re: FS9 isn't dead yet!
Sure is the same guy, but REX is not officially associated with FEX, so just clearing up any confusion. The FSX version of REX is in the thread I posted, and it looks smashing!
FEX = released, REX = not released in any form.

Cheers Guys.... Downloading the FSX one now. I'll let you know how it goes.

Re: FS9 isn't dead yet!
Does anyone have any idea when REX is due out? The original poster seems rather reticent to give up the info on its release unless I'm being blind. I have to say I can't wait to get my hands on this- gives a whole new lease of life for us FS9ers.Tweek wrote:Sure is the same guy, but REX is not officially associated with FEX, so just clearing up any confusion. Re: FS9 isn't dead yet!
Having at last got the flight one wrapper to work (it didn't like the "&" symbol in Tyne & Wear) I've had my first play with REX (The FSX Version) and it is excellent, especially given the current exchange rate as its paid for in USD. I'll post some screenies once I've had a chance to play with it a bit more. ;-)
Ben.

Look forward to seeing them Ben.
