Heads Up: FS9 Bloom

Post by Ben Hartmann »

Posted on Avsim Forums.
So, I was perusing the IL-2 Sturmovik forums and I came upon this bloom/etc plugin (i don't think it's actually HDR) people are using with various games, developed by some Russian programmer.

From there I navigated to a linked Lock On thread, where someone posted the directx 9 version of the plugin.

Long story short, it works in FS2004 AND FSX!!!

So there you have it, some very positive feedback.

Just Notice ive lost alot of the general effect of the program in the resizing of the images.
Anyway folks checkout the Avsim forums link.

Hi...

Well, looking at the screenies, this is something that I definately am NOT going to use.
Losing up to 7 fps just for a bit more contrast... Never!!!

Same here. I'm far too jealous of what FPS I have to give any up.
