Cheers, Chris

I cleaned the sensor immediately before leaving for Cosford. It seems to pick up dust very quickly, especially when shooting at 5fps.
Thinking of upgrading to the Nikon D300, as it has built in sensor dust removal.

True enough guys, the Gnat is tiny - 24ft span - but it made them a delight to work on at least externally. Inside stuff was shoe-horned in so that anything and everything was both difficult to get at and replace, except the engine. Back end comes off complete just behind the wings and out slides the engine. Getting the back end on again was kind of like slipping on a glove.

Ground handling was easy too, to turn the aircraft around one guy would hop onto the tailplane and another would lift the nose - and voila, round she goes
