I hope that we will all soon be flying your Sea Hawk(s) Steve. That scheme is of course of the aircraft featured on your avtar. Really great.

Yes indeed, James, well spotted. It is of course '491' or WV797 in 899 NAS colours during the Suez. Since I got to sit in her and photographed her significantly for the project, I felt it was only right that she got pride of being the first scheme, and also as a tribute to the M.A.M. which is a brilliant museum.

Sea Hawk(s) is right - this is the first 'clean' FGA.6, but there will be loadout versions of all the main variants, including the Mk.101 a bit later. Maybe the prototype too if I am feeling particularly sadistic. ;-)

Hi just a note to say that you are doing a quite supurb job so far....I had the pleasure to work on XE368 and WV908 some 30 years ago, my favourite aircraft of all time and sadly lacking on any flightsim. My father was FAA and worked on the same Aircraft too so its great to se one re-born.

Keep up the good work
Dave

Hello Dave, and welcome to the forum. Thanks a lot for your words of support; they mean a lot especially from someone that close to the old girl. I am a complete beginner at building a/c for FS, previously (and still) being strictly a repainter, but bear with me and we'll at least have A model for FS! WV908 will certainly be included it its current RNHF colours and I'll see if I can dig up anything on XE368.

Not a great deal of progress to report, but here are a few minor tweaks, including some ground accessories and a bit more texturing:

I'm hoping to sit down this Sunday and get a lot more done on her, payloads for instance - but you know how those plans go!
