VC-10 steps
Hello:
I downloaded David Maltby's VC-10 1103. The first time that I parked it, I had 2 sets of steps that appeared at the port side passenger doors. I have never seen them since. How do I make them appear again?
Thanks!
Clay

If I remember correctly: 1. Brakes On, 2. Engines shut down should do it.

And if you switch off the ignition you'll get the engine covers too.

Re: VC-10 steps
I don't need that one. I have failures turned off
Truth is - I'd forgotten about it. I'm on a different PC now - I'll have a look tomorrow if nobody else gets there first!
Ian
OK - here we go, Clay - from DM's website:
Q: Pressing the tailhook key on the VC10 airliners displays a pod under the wing. What is it?
A: When needed, the VC10 could transport a spare Conway engine inside the pod to a stricken VC10. The RAF don't use the pods since they can store the engine inside the aircraft.
Pressing the tailhook key on the C1K will deploy the refuelling drogues.

Cheers Ian
I sort of mentioned it as a reminder because a lot of folks don't know about it....well they wouldn't if it's in the instructions

Re: VC-10 steps
Should look something like this:

And DM's attention to detail doesn't stop there! When you switch off the 'no smoking' lights after take-off, a pretty stewardess enters the flight deck with a First Class menu and asks you to choose your meal!
Ian ;-)
