Appalling FSX Wyvern Video

Having spent most of the day finishing the texture maps for the cockpit before sending the files off to my texture monkey, I thought I'd actually try flying the thing. Once I remembered how to stop crashing the whole time I made this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74rEY6BU_LQ. Unfortunately youtube's compression meant the full glory of the original 545MB is lost slightly....

That scenery looked remarkably crud for the 'Dark Side' Skip but an interesting subject matter nontheless ;-)

Yes the original 1280x1024 video is fine, but after processing it to a file small enough to upload and then whatever youtube does to it, it looks less good!

OK skip.. I guess you're trying to convince me that FSX really doesn't look like FS9 on a bad hair day and it was all a trick of the light ;-)

The Wyvern looked good though

Well I'm not sure about the vid... but the Wyvern looks great... at last a replacement for Ito's model.
