Dove basing

Post by Nigel Edwards »

Would it be possible to base a couple of Doves at EGSS soley for type rating training flights? They seem to be everywhere except at Stanstead where the training flights originate!!

Best wishes

Hi Nigel :)

We talked about this at the time and now.. I've forgotten the conclusion  I think the outcome was, Dove's are so prolific that if you fancy getting a TR back.. have a look where one is and pick a flight to that airfield in the aircraft you're in then do a TR enroute so to speak. Can't be sure now so I'd better go and have a look. That sounds reasonable though.. I think ;-)
