Yes this was really good to see and very well deserved by Mr Ito who has given so much to the sim world, well overdue to all
his hard work. I hope he continues for years to come.

I was very interested to read this report. We have been emailling each for some time now and I have contributed to a number of British projects....Seamew, Balliol, Auster 9, Barracuda, Roc etc. I know personally that he has a great love for British aeroplanes.

But his health has worsened over the last six months and he has had terrible problems with his eyesight. Hopefully we will see a few more aeroplanes emerge, but I think we should all be very grateful for what we have already received and anything new is just a lovely bonus. (If you think you've read the last line before, its because I mentioned this in a recent Sim-Outhouse forum).

Best wishes,

Martin

If anyone does want to email him, please could you put your email into very plain English as he puts all his correspondence through a translation program. Sometimes its takes me a little while to understand what he means, but hey I cant speak a word of Japanese.

I cant add more to the above posts - but since the subject has come up I would like to add my applause and thanks to the man. Amazing to think he has produced all these models in the short space of time between now and 2002. Give him a Beer!
