New D.H. Heron incl. Panel?

Post by crisso »

Firstly, I'm not one of those people who keep pestering about the release of new models - it's just that, the 'random' picture which came up, when I last accessed this site, appeared to be of a new Heron Panel (the two engine gauges each appeared to have two needles - i.e. 4 engines in total.). It seemed to be based on the Dove but, somewhat improved, with different Radio and Autopilot sub-panels. (I re-iterate, this is simply a question.)

I can't see a picture of the panel there Garry but I guess that must be the link :)

Crisso.. Derek wants to keep ahead of the race and has started at least 2 other projects and one collaboration since the Heron

Hi Dave,

The panel pic is in the future projects gallery and comes up as a random pic on the CBFS home page

I had to go hunt for it :)

Regards

Yo Dave :)

I know the panel is not there but the post question seems to be asking if there is a new Heron on the go and af course everything we do has a panel so that is sort of the right thread as to the status of the project....I think :dunno:

Yup.. fair comment. I didn't realise there were so many pages to that thread and wondered if I'd missed one ;-)

I'm not that sure that a 'future projects' page is such a good idea as it does tend to get folk excited.. given that the Heron has been going for over a year now with no current testing in progress :worried:

Just trying it on for size....but you've caught me, like a Treen in a disabled spaceship..
