Yes thats the idea. You can also practice pulling out into moving traffic without looking in the mirror, whilst giving passengers their change.. :-#

Dear me Brian(F).. yes mate, I don't think I could work the same routine you do :worried:

Noticed immediately the lack of rigging on Cutty Sark. Perhaps it's based on how she looks at the mo.. very little hull either :o

As for inflatable sailors.. I think that only happened on the Royal Yacht :-#

Can a thread really go downhill this quick

I think Bus Sim is the best alternative. As Eddie pointed out.. pull into the path of other road users.. accelerate hard and brake hard making your passengers feel sick.. be either late or early.. and always turn up in two's  I suppose you could do most of this in train sim too but pulling out into the path of other rail users would be a hard one to duplicate ;-)
You lost me on that last bit Garry and I'm not prepared to ask

Ok, I will confess to occasional use of BVE - I love driving different routes from around the world and the UK routes usually are top drawer. Birmingham cross-city is probably the best but I really enjoy the Northern Line route because:

1. It does not cost anything.
2. Nostalgia - my mother took me for rides on it when I was a wide-eyed four year old.
3. I don't have to ride it every day to get to work!

I can think of no better reasons than those Nige ;-) I loved steam trains as a kid though they scared the sh1te out of me (so I'm told).. and all to do with the venting of steam before coming to a stop. It's at times like these I know I really WAS young once
