About to cross the Columbia River...

Turning on and...

Settled on the final approach and...

...touchdown.

Passing the Ambulance where I am sitting watching.

And clearing the runway at Portland...The staff get a couple of standover days here.

All the aircraft shown are AI aircraft...I was driving the ambulance :flying:

Great shots, I still haven't managed to book a seat on that yet :)
Those shockwave lights look rather nice indeed :)

Jonesey,

I'm not quite happy with them in daylight...But I need to adjust the position of these on the Comet to half bury them in the wing...Just haven't got round to it yet :)

Very nice indeed, Peter. I thought it must be the Pacific Northwest but wasn't sure until you said at the end. I haven't been to Portland so that's my excuse. Looks like lovely scenery.

Is the GA traffic World of AI? If it is, I've got it on my system but never really looked at it. Looks nice.

Ian :)

Ian

Its the Southern Alaskan Peninsula (Peter I am correct in thinking thats where you have built your home away from home?)

Its incredible county (Juneau is the place to start - the only US Captiol without road access in or out :)

I wish our real country would piss off Alaska Airlines and fly up that way, it really is "Gods Country"

BTW there is a really good show on The History Channel about Alaska right now, it so happens they are

covering the lower half at resent.

Pete

Where did you take the staff this year? is there a full screen log somewhere???

Leif,

It was my Staff RTW standard package (the one I released)...I fire it up two or three times a year and it runs for four weeks. This is week four and I just popped in to the ambulance at Portland to watch it come in (one of the supplied saved viewing flights) :flying:

Ian,

The AI Traffic there will be a mix of WoA and whatever came with the Flightzone Two package. The AI Comet is DM's with modified Aircraft.cfg and .air files as supplied in the Staff RTW Tour package :flying:
