(Formerly) Alpha Sea Venom

Post by FallenPhoenix1986 »

Was just wondering if anyone had heard anything about this model being rereleased elsewhere?
I heard rumours aroud the time that it was pulled that it was to be released along with the same modelers F-4 and Mirage III series however some time has passed and I've since heard nothing.

Hi Craig and welcome :)

This particular batch of models has been the topic of some conversation here recently so let's hope a bit more news comes to light on their prospective availability ;-)

You mean these Mirages ?.

Not sure about other products, they may get converted to FSx at some stage, FSDSMAN is the only guy who can say for certain what is planned.

thanks for te welcome guys
I'm not 100 % sure but I think that may be the same Mirage, pretty sure the Sea Venom was FSX compatible on release. Hopefully it'll come out of their workshop in future, also if anyones interested I noticed mentions of an HMS Eagle model nearing completion.

Funny I was thinking about that model of HMS Eagle the other day... any idea of an update (if any) on its status?

That IS the ex-Alpha Mirage, although it has been developed a lot since the project moved to Skysim. I have an FS9 beta in my hangar and she is superb! Not sure about the designs that were ex-AS and released. I bought the Sea Venom at the time it came out.

There has been a couple of "screenies" aded to the Skysim gallery and the Sea Venom will be re-worked for FSX along with a few other models that were removed (not withdrawn - there is a difference) but no dates as yet.
