HU Fairey Firefly

Post by hobby »

A Firefly Mk1, Mk5 & Mk5 Trainer are available from SOH. I arrived at those downloads by following the 'free Sea Venom' link on this forum. The acft is from CFS2 and does fly in FS9. Comes equipped with unusual flap operatinhg method plus an arrester hook.

The aircraft as issued needs a new sound file, is unarmed, and appears in RAustNavy colours. Could do with some Fs9 FDE expertise and I would hope that eventually there will be some FS9 repaints. In Fs9 the acft has no nav/landing lights.

Good find, Hobby, I will definitely have a crack at these at some point in the near future.

Hi Pips and welcome to the forum :)

Yeh.. I suppose you're not alone there. We seem to be split fairly evenly here between FS9 and FSX though it will take time for you to know who is for what. I fly in one and play in the other.. I'll leave you to decide which is which ;-)

Hope you enjoy your stay
