Nice collection of pics. Something has me thinking they are scale models, particularly the reds hawk.
I could be wrong. I was once !!

I'm going to sound a right plonker if I'm wrong........Have to agree with Steve, take a look at the Mustang, the prop is not quite right.
Take a look at the fifteenth photograph down of the Mustangs taken by Kevin and compare.

Also the Red's Hawk seems to be missing the nose probe, and I can't think of any reason there'd be a USN Goshawk in the UK.

Re: Airshow pics from yesterday
Hehe, I thought you guys would suss it !
Yes, Barkston Heath yesterday. Jill and I had a very enjoyable day. This is the first event of this nature that I have been to and I can recommend it. There's still time for anyone else to go if they wish as it is on tomorrow as well. I'll post a few more pics when I get round to them. I was mightily impressed by the standard of construction and attention to detail. Spent most of our time lounging up at the 'Airshow' end where it was all very relaxed and freestyle type flying. A couple of very expensive accidents involving the jets - the rather nice USN 'Hawk' pictured above is now mostly resident in a black bin liner, as is a Lockheed Starfighter. The Hawk crashed inverted at high speed into the runway having started a roll manouever with full flaps still extended. The Starfighter suffered a mid-air with a DH Swallow. The Swallow managed to stay aloft and landed safely although was visibly damaged. The Starfigher alas was in similar condition as the Hawk. The C17 was an amazing sight to behold. Having watched it's construction on 'Sky' it was nice to see it in the flesh - it flew twice whilst we were there and was very impressive. The trade stands were very interesting, I didn't realise there was such a variety of products available. It can be a cheap and cheerful hobby or a mortgage sized investment if you go down the jet route. I'll post a few more pictures once I've sorted through them.
Regards
