Good UK freeware scenery for FSX

Post by Dyl Roberts »

Hi Guy's,

Now I've got FSX to run fairly well, I was wondering if anyone could recommend good freeware RAF Airfields for FSX?

Cheers

If you have Gen-X, have a look here: http://www.arm-computers.co.uk/
They're mostly done with default scenery objects so they're not 100% accurate, but they're a huge improvement over the default. May work with the default scenery :dunno:

I've noticed that they don't have any exclude files with the default scenery, so you end up with trees and buildings all over the airfield. I presume that in GenX, these parts of the map have been sorted already, as it'll match up with the photo scenery.

Good point Tweek. In GenX the autogen is completely removed unless you add some back youself.
