Trumpet, well bass guitar really!
You may have seen this (on the thread about Dan's rabbit last week) before, but years ago, I played in a band (which only ever performed for charity events) called the Incredible ('awful' is the optional title) Flopsy Bunnies.
Well, as most of the band hit the 50 :o this year, we had a reunion at an open air party/festival in West Sussex (guess who travelled the furthest!) and had an incredible time! To see chaps (and chapesses ;-) ) that we have not seen for 25 years was superb. The band was not bad either, despite only one two hour rehearsal since 1983! Several of us had not played in public for that long either! The whole is gig was recorded (just for fun), and this one clip is up on You Tube

BTW, it's meant to be funny, not serious music!!! You never know, a talent scout may find us, after all this time  I have still to upload 'Hello, Hello, it's good to back' (Gary Glitter and the Glitterband cover) and 'Ghost Riders in the Sky' covers from the same night, don't say I have not warned you!

Well, what can I say Trev.....Nothing like reliving your youth is there?
Would I be correct in saying that you were 2nd on the right? Just seems that you were all enjoying yourselves tremendously and to cap it all.........You even got a standing ovation!!
Awaiting the next few tracks with interest.

Nigel.

Yes, that is me in yellow and it seems what they say about TV (it makes you look a stone heavier) is true! Well, you are gluttons for punishment, so here is another one...

All the band here (and there were more in the past) except the drummer (and even he is the brother of an old school and RAF mate) have known each other since junior school. We started playing in our teens and some of us (me really) have not touched an instrument in a good many years. The blister took 3 weeks to heal!
