Hi Trev,
Frank has been with this from the begining and although a bit further away from France than us there are not many that know more about the subject and without him this would have never got off the idea stage.
I see from the shots you have the Sidewinders and Phimats loaded at the same time Glad it runs ok on your PC. Expect another update later today.
Now back to the topic of the Sea Venom.
As I am sure most are aware I have a number of A/C to update (in most cases they have been completely remodelled) so no dates but it will co-incide with the Eagle.
Great news about the Sea Venom, Mark as far as the Mirage is concerned I am totally out of depth as far as knowledge is concerned! Hence the load-out mix up, it did look a bit odd when I first saw it She looks superb though and runs a treat!
Yes, interesting mix of stores there. ;-) I thought it looked weird but I wasn't sure why. Certainly an interesting idea to make a dual purpose launch rail. Actually I believe the Danish AF did something along those lines with their Drakens -- ECM in Sidewinder launch rails. I know this may sound like beta test chatter (yes things do get beta tested in this world) but maybe the situation that allowed that to happen could be eliminated by making sure that the method of adding and removing stores never allows the numbers to equal such a combination. Anyway, we can take this offline. Sorry folks.
CHEERS
And thanks for the vote of confidence Mark. That really brightened up what has otherwise been a couple of really sucky days of being involved in FS add-on development.

y'know for the Falklands in '82 we put ecm in Aden gun pods ;-)
That's a clever idea. And an interesting article. Thanks. I was fresh out of college and going through Armor Officer Basic (AOB) training at Ft. Knox that spring and summer. We watched the war news every night. Those were interesting times indeed. Hard to believe how long ago it was now.
ironically just 9 years later in gulf war 3 (the '91 gulf war) the RAF turned up with it's tornado ADVs which had no ECM equipment and yet the Saudi Tornado ADV's had the full ECM fit, some lessons just arn't learnt, at least by the RAF
needless to say the usual lash up was carried out to give them something. it must be said the Brits are expert at achieving a lot with bugger all.
the RAF had no self designating laser bombing or HARM caperbility on its Tornado's and a few months later it had both.
one can only laugh at the state of the current Typhoon procurement, and thier ain't much UK aerospace industry infrastructure left to bail em out anymore, should the need arise.
