FS2004/FSX De Havilland 87b Hornet Moth two seater tourer. Originally designed in 1935 to replace the Tiger Moth as an RAF trainer, the Hornet Moth found many loving homes throughout the world as a two seater tourer. In pristine condition, the Hornet Moth, G-ADNE "Ariadne" depicted here, is in the custody of the Felix family in England, and flies today, together with many other examples of this magnificent aircraft. Includes 2D/3D cockpit. Tested in FS2004 and FSX but not with the FSX packs. By Frank Elton.

Hate to be a smartar#e
But I posted both this and Jens Comet at 1200BSt as being up at classicbritishfiles - they, along with DaveMs Whitney straight have been doing landsale business all day -- By the way if you download Franks Hornet Moth at Allnodes you will then have to find a more satisfactory sound file -- The copy at The Pond comes with Don Putnam's Gypsy Major sounds already attached -- Expect to see some paints for both the Hornet and the Whitney-Straight/Monarch soon as a certain painter returns from Portugal. Including the spectacular red MilesMonarch that used to live at East Fortune.

Re: Hornet Moth at 'All Nodes'
You need to be a bit specific for us 'older' members Leif! I checked to see if the title 'Moth' or similar was there (it wasn't), so I posted a quick 'heads up' post.
Now I see your post
, a bit too subtle for me though! Still, better infom people twice than not at all, I'm off to take the zimmer for a spin round the block
Now I see your post

Re: Hornet Moth at 'All Nodes'
Your correct Mate - its been a bit hectic yesterday - we are in the middle of College football charters in the real world then I got nailed with three
really good uploads this morning so i was working rather quickly I thought about posting screenies of Franks Hornet and Daves Monarch but ran out of time
as usual (I work from 0300Z to 1300Z then go home and sleep! And my biggest concern was that there were three excellent aircraft (Jens Comet/Franks Hornet Moth and Daves Whitney Straight/Monarch) all posting at the same time as I said I added Don Putnam's Gypsy sound file to the Hornet so folks wouldnt have to
(More than can be said for allnodes). As to Zimmer frames -- Naw I'll just race you on my Hoverround (tm)
