Am afraid not. We have worked together on a number of aircraft before....Auster AOP.9, Balliol, Seamew, Barracuda, Macchi MC200 etc etc and some others have fallen by the way side after considerable research due to the fact that the information was not available. These two may do the same and at the moment are nothing more than projects. I am still gleaning information from my own files and the web as to plans and photos. If they do emerge, I will of course post the details here first, before anywhere else.

Best wishes to all,

Martin

As to the Ercoupe, I learnt to fly at Bodmin and before the trusty Cessna 150, the club was equipped with Ercoupes as I believe they were available as a cheap job lot - not that I got the chance to sample its delights. I blame my parents - perhaps I should have been born a few years earlier :)

Martin I believe looking at the UK registry that they were the ones that Stapleford FC had can you confirm the registrations?

Techy has a pleasent surprise for folks who like to dabble with little aeroplanes ;)

Techy

Here is a shot of HC in the early 90s returned t the SFC colours

HB through HG were all owned by them and were painted indentically

Just aft of the canopy on the white below the rear windonw was "Stapleford Flying Club" in black script

ALL had G-A in large black on the left wing and RH# on the right wing

Oops I did notice one thing -- They had obviously prelaced the spinner on HC at some time as it appears to be natural aluminum
when Stapleford had them they were all red same as the fuselage and wings :)
