I'm guessing from the words in the link it's the attempt by, I think, a Swiss chap to cross the channel from the French side towards the heart of the empire using a carbonfibre wing and some model aircraft jet engines. Think Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story, the wing literally straps to his back.

Meanwhile in a seedy under the railway arches garage several men and women are hard at work producing prefabricated wings and parachutes for would be refugees. Engines are being sourced from the range of internet model aircraft suppliers while Professor Molliarti labours away in his laboratory producing a synthetic jet engine fuel. A Monsieur A Anglais was observed to be setting up what appeared to be a market stall on the Calais road.
Future mode of Summer travel for would be EU commuters?
Seriously he made a dream come true - the whole journey including the fixed wing aircraft used to climb to height probaly only took about 45 mins. 'Tis a notable aviation feat.
Fifty or so years ago another Frenchman used to leap out of aircraft and 'fly' on unpowered plywood wings at British airshows ending each descent by parachute. Can't recall his name but one day the wings folded at an inopportune moment.
