The first Chinook is in fact RAF
I noticed that too, the Fulcrum looks fairly Russian as well!

I noticed the faux pas on the Chinook and as Skip say's.. the Fulcrum is slightly of Iron Curtain origin so I guessed that the guy's who took the shots are U.S. Military, not necessarily the subject matter. That said..

The Chinook in the water is RAF as well,

still in 7sqns spec ops gulf war one colours.....

my bro was on 7sqn when they did the RAF trials for spec ops recovery,


still all awesome shots...
