Connie, Belfast, Beaufort, and Swift Now Freeware

Post by tgibson »

Hi all,

Just a heads up that Alphasim has released several more FS9 models as freeware, and available at AVSIM. The Connie package includes a BOAC L-049, but I'm sure most will want to use the FSDZigns version. Ditto for many of the other planes, but it's nice to have a choice. :)

Here's the listing:

Hope this helps,
Tom Gibson

If its the Shorts Belfast then its a FS2002 Model Ported over to FS9. I bought the original ages ago.

The Beaufort is fairly recent, isn't it ? I'm sure I remember that being released. It will go well with the Coastal Command Hampden.

Great news, the only MSFS 'Belslow' is now freeware!! The Swift is a real cutie too :welldone: :welldone:

Some of the models released free alongside are good quality too! Thanks Phil, this sweetens the lack of forum pill nicely

Hi Tom. That was quick. :tonqe:

The two-seater model was left out of the MiG-25 set by mistake. I just uploaded it to Avsim and SOH. It should be available from both tomorrow I would expect. The way to tell it is the newer one before downloading is that the file size will be about 6.5 MB. The earlier (current as I write this) one was just over 5.5 MB. Go for the bigger one. :doho:
