C'mon Garry, you must know that PR is far more more complicated than that and there are a million and one reasons that anyone with a modicum of intelligence can figure out that will explain why the paints on the display aircraft are good for promoting the RAF to the taxpayer, especially given the current anti-military sentiment that is so prevalent amongst the great unwashed.Garry Russell wrote:Promote the RAF eh...what for those that have never heard of it???

Yes, since when have the government (any government, not just the current lot) listened to what the public want!The financing for the RAF will not be changed by public conception of their worth as a fighting force.
