S79 and SM79...

Hello All,

I have been a happy lurker here for a while, but now am seeking assistance.

Some long time ago I used to have the LAGO 'Crossings' add-on with the S79, but now gone it's off the map after hard drive crashes,as have LAGO seemingly.

I also have Manuel Villa's SM79 which I guess is the military version with the hump and guns.

I wondered if there was any other version of the S79 to download or purchase that anyone here might know of ?

Thanks for that info...I've re-downloaded the MV SM79, which is a great model, and there are a couple of 'transports' in the MV download which is at least 1/2 way there !

Whenever I look at the Lago site the dates always seem to be 2004 ! It was that what made me think they'd gone.....!

I think I'm already here under another name !, but Gannet is good. I used to watch them ?divebomb floating platforms off the north Somerset coast near Kilve.

Always an interesting site to visit.

Yes.. I have to agree that Lago appear to have remained becalmed for what seems a very long time now. If you still have your purchase info (a long shot) perhaps you could get another copy of Crossings :think:

You inspired me to check again on the Lago site and there is an e-mail option which I tried, so we'll see if anything happens when I can get access to the old e-mail address I used originally .... seems complicated, but they do say they undertake to re-download purchases, even though I feel 4 years is a long time to keep the details of your order !

Did the British make any 3 engined airplanes ? It seems to be a European thing, though, with the Junkers and the Savoias.

Well.. the Trident springs to mind but I guess that's not quite the same Off the top of my head, I can't think of any Tri-Piston engined aircraft similar to the Ju52 or S/SM79. 1, 2 or 4 seems more our thing ;-)

Best of luck with the re-download option from Lago btw. Let us know how you get on

Anglo Normandy in the CI bought some in kit form but I don't think a whole aeroplane has been prodiced as such
