Got wind?

Post by jonesey2k »

I was nearly killed when I was on my lunch break today....
A Great big f*** off cast iron street lamp broke free from its pole and came crashing down about 8 inches from where I was walking. It was one of those ones that look like an old gas one and the impact was so hard it cracked the paving slab! It was rather windy but I wouldn't have said it was that windy...
I kindly informed the council and then stopped into a pub for a quick pint.... :o

Congratulations on your lucky escape. When these things happen it puts everything into perspective, doesn't it. The beer tastes better as well.

Good to hear that you're OK.

Hope you've had enough 'liquid courage :drinkers: ' to calm your nerves.

Regards

Kevin
