Hey I'm sorry its taken me a while to say thanks for the replies - I'll try to keep the temps in yellow and see what happens!
This is really great fun - it takes me from my home in California right back to my days as a kid watching BA and Cambrian 1-11s take off and land at Cardiff (rhoose) airport)...

Yes they do evoke memories
Use tht top temp switches and you won't have to worry about the yellow
Or you could just do what I do on t/o.... that is if full throttle then as soon as airborne just pull them back enough for the overheat lights to go out
