I've been flying this newly released model from Premier Aircraft Design this morning and am very impressed with it.

These kind of aircraft are the ones that float my boat - multi-engine STOL types, be it Herc, Dash 7 or 8 (yes - I use that for STOL ops, too, and why not...), AM400, G222 or Transall - that type of thing always amazed me as a kid, so I guess they were bound to impress me in FS, too.

The only minor issue I had - which may not be an error in the model - was that the panel repeatedly switched itself to 'see-through' view. I'm not bothered about the plain cockpit cabin sides etc. Ear-plugs are also needed when applying the juddering wheel-brakes ( a noise which gets stuck on when viewing replays for some reason).

Otherwise, I can't fault it. :prayer:

Can you give us some info about it... i.e. FS9 FSX where it can be found etc?

Its very basic panel, and not a fantastic model, but might be good for AI. Looking at some of the other screenshots, its definately the authors best to date, so good to see someone picking up the mantel and giving it a go. Clearly they are getting better with each new model so thats always good.

I think it's great for freeware - as are many of their other FSX offerings.

The usual let-down is their sounds, though this one is better than others.

As I said - I'm not really bothered about the cabin walls/seats etc being perfect - it's the actual flying that makes or breaks a model for me.

That's why I was very disappointed with their MD-11s. Worst they've done imho - and they were very recent, too.

And, whilst their Buffalo panels may not be the most authentic looking - not many modelers will give you nine of them!

I have tried several of their offerings in 18 months or so and while I have always liked the external models I find the VCs hard to live with. I never use panels as they don't work too well with TIR and the VCs (while getting better) just seem 'sterile' and very 2D like to me. Just my 2 cents.

Great model, havnt downloaded it though, just one question,. Does the nosewheel castor (while it's airborne)? I mean putting rudder inputs during an approach and the nosegear just steers depending on your rudder inputs? HELP

I have particularly favoured their SOCATA / EADS TB-10 Tobago model for years. Having alot of RW flying hours in this type, I find this model more realistic than the Lionheart & FranceVFR examples.
