Funny that Garry...I flew aeroplanes for a third of a century and I never once heard any music... :dunno: Maybe I just don't have the ear for it :)

My videos are about simulating flight and since I've never heard any music while flying, I have not added any music to my videos :flying:

Impressive - and they didn't even use "progressive taxi." ;-)

No, but we used to listen to Test match Special on the ADF when you used to be able to get it on 1215 kHz! You could also get the Light Programme on Droitwich 200 KHz ( or kcs as they used to call it)

Those were the days!

I haven't had a single flight up front where I wasn't listening to the local news, sports, or occasionally music up front through the ADF. With so many ADF stations being taken "off air" here in the US and the ADF and AM radio being in the same band (that's why AM radio in the US used to have to take the 10-second indentification breaks - to allow the morse code to identify the transmitter in use so that pilots could determine which tower they were heading towards), I've been able to catch every Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, or Dallas Stars game I've wanted while in Dallas and every Colorado Rockies, Colorado Avalanche, or Denver Bronco's game in Denver.

Makes for a great background on those long solo cross-countries. :)

Seems to me we used to be able to get BBC World service on the ADF and also on HF in the Britannia's

And Chris is right - most of AAYs crews listen to AM stations

A couple of things really if I may..

The music soundtrack (suicidal as it is) isn't coming from the flightdeck. You will note it's 'in sync' on all directional shot changes. Also.. are the lights off angle at the destination airport or did they really come in on 4 whites?? It would appear they did looking at how far down the runway they landed! That's women for ya I suppose

The music aside.. interesting to see the updated 748 panel. Looks almost modern! ;-)

I'm assuming by the voices this must be one of the Swedish?? freighters still out there?

The idiot sound track spoils the sound of two lovely Darts

besides the fact its a Budgie , I'm trying to see the signifigance???

Seems I flew on an all girl Budgie 34years ago .
