Thier new Tornado gives payware a bad name, for FSX only and she has MS default gauges      What a bloody shower, they want 35 dollars for another freeware quality (at best) product, yet they seem to have been able to get thier products in all the right places, even Amazon.com :dunno:

Trev, that looks terrible. OK I don't have FSX, but I use the DSB freeware Tornado which looks far, far better than that - which looks like a step back in time from the screenies - and that's before I talk about the panel.

Sadly, how many simmers don't know about quality freeware or this site for that matter? Amazon etc are hardly going to care as long as they shift a few units. It wouldn't be me mind you!

Surely, the best payware 'Tornado' was the Combat Sim published by Digital Integration for the Commodore Amiga.... ;-)

I like the non 3D gear wells :o , must save a ton of polys by just painting the fuselage to look like a gear well and sticking a cardboard door over it :welldone: .

Sadly there will always be room for entry level models like this and a raft of numpties queueing up to buy it, thats a fact that hasn't changed in the nine years I've been involved in all this, some are just cleverer at hiding poor models with high prices.

Best

When you say 'their', I presume you mean AFS Designs'.

FCS look very much like an outfit along the lines of SimMarket, JustFlight Flight1, giving others a base to sell their work from. But, I can't see FCS doing themselves any favours by associating with such poorly made models. Although the publishing of poorly made addons through SimMarket and JustFlight is hardly unknown.

I've seen it in the flesh and added a suitable warning to my earlier post.

I forgot about that Gordon, sorry! It seems all the stuff being released (with much fanfare) is pretty second rate, the only thing 'First Class' is the price!
