PA Clemenceau for FSX

Post by rich byrne »

Can be found here, for any fans of the Aeronavale. It looks quite good in FSX and has Acceleration catapult and arresters.

Assuming you've installed it correctly there should be one about 10 miles west of Guipavas LFRB and another about 10 miles west of Lann-Bihoue Navy LFRH I usually use AICarriers to place it where I want, it comes up fine on the menu, on the second page.

Some pics......

Does the Meatball operate as expected? If so, is the FSX system from the Nimitz class, or have the developers engineered their own?

The meatball operates correctly, but it's a developer engineered thing as the FSX Nimitz class system isn't right for the Clemenceau. Or anything that isn't a Nimitz class really.

Is it the old chesnut of FS2004 traffic subdueing AI in FSX? Just worth checking... I once downloaded some FSX scenery and I had no idea it had traffic compiled using the FS2004 SDK until one day my ships vanished. I had to go and route it out.
