Hey everyone,
I know someone here has all of the drawings for the Anson Mk.1 that covers the wings, center section, and any wood surfaces or structures on the aircraft. If they could PM or e-mail me to let me know, I will put you in contact with the person who needs them. It is for a restoration project.

Re: Avro Anson Mk.1 Drawings
Anyone have anything they can share? I'm under the impression from the gentleman looking for the information that this will be an airworthy restoration, so I had hoped there'd be more interest here in the project.

Can't help on this one Chris.....nothing in my collection apart from a general basic 3-view :-(
I don't know who the person is on this site with the 'gen you need....
I know there was a MkI Anson for FS2004 by Dave Garwood but whether he had the extensive data your friend requires.........give Dave a PM and see what he has got is all I can suggest.
Regards.

Did Tom not have access to something? I think that may have been when he was working or AA though, so don't think he will have the plans now.

No.. but if someone were to consider a TwinPin.. then good (genuine) 3-views could be made available (though positive vetting would also be brought to bear)
I'm 99.99% sure we never got 3-views/drawings of the Anson and in any case.. AA's is not a Mk1 ;-)

There's a Mk1 at Duxford, albeit a non-flyer, they may have something

Re: Avro Anson Mk.1 Drawings
I'll point him to contact Duxford.
In the US, almost every airplane designed by a US company or operated by a US Governmental Agency has had a set of plans and pertinent documents sent to either the National Archives or the National Air & Space Museum Archives where we can gather them. They have been searched for the Anson Mk.1 and from what I'm told they found nothing at either location (not unusual as the aircraft was never operated by any US Governmental entity). Is there any similar system in place in the UK that we can contact to see if they have anything?
