Hello Mate..

That link isn't happening for me and I get the same when trying flightglobal  However, I thought the intention was only ever to get her to taxiing status  All I can say is that they're either very brave or very foolish to contemplate getting her into the air knowing as they must the shortage of funds available for such projects :dunno:

No denying it'd be nice to see it flying though ;-)

The Shack has as much chance of flying as I have being called back to active service in Afganistan    Until a year or so, there was a perfectly air worthy Shack that had to fly in the USA (thanks to the CAA banning her from the UK ) and was grounded when not enough stateside airshows wanted to pay to see her. This was because hardly anybody knew what a Shack was! The best chance this one has.....is as a stop gap stand in for the new Nimrod!!!

Just tried the link - read the info & came back here with the back button in IE with no problems.

Given the economic climate its a brave buch to plan such a move, but I wish em well. It says that Air Ataltique no longer wished to retain the aircraft....I read that as "buy or it gets the chop".
