No more wrinkled stockings

:-( Farewell to a truly great actress. Just one look at Nora and you'd laugh!

No! :-( This is very sad. Often times when I'm using the broom I think of Nora Batty. :) She was definitely an original and will surely be missed. Rest in peace Ms. Staff. :-(

How very sad. She will long be remembered for her many roles in comedy - irreplaceable.

Rest in peace dear lady.

Yes sad it is. When they annouced it on the BBC Evening News they said she also played 'Doris Lake'. Had to laugh as it was Luke. Shame she will also be remembered for that. Although the two characters were very similar.

Before any comments are made I was not a fan of Crossroads, the 'Former Mrs D was' as Truly would say. I just had shoved on in front of me and also videoed.

Sad life eh!
