My graphics card has died, so I'm using it as an excuse to build a new PC.
I want to run FSX (I know don't shoot me) easily with heavyish traffic and decent photographic scenery.
Anyone got an idea of a good spec?
Kind regards and thanks in advance
John
Ps unless anyone knows of a good 'off the shelf' deal?

Re: It's that time at last!
If your budget will stretch to £700 then this would be a great system for FSX

you know what , I'm running on a Pen D 820! and FSX is running really good (4 gig memory and a Nvidia 8800gt oc)
pretty high settings and I'm very satisfied , reallly . don't over kill it, save some money for a few enviroment addons
and FSX native AC and you 'll love it.
of course...don't expect to bring along a lot of your FS9 stuff
you are going upto the 10th sim level , of the building.

of course buying the better in best now may be a better investment for the next sim..... there is always room for that side of the argument
......
but FS12 won't been seen for some 6 to 7 years
