Hmm..

Letting wind pass.. closing engines down.. I can't recall seeing either of those in the SOP (though wind may pass if the in-flight curry is a little more toxic than normal)

I've said this before but I'm going to say it again.. just in case anyone out there doesn't know  The model, though perhaps not this EXACT version, was tested using real weather and a flightplan taken for a given day with weights taken from the plan. That is, a RW flightplan dated X of Y mated to archived wx for that date and time using ActiveSky. The difference was within around 900kg of the planned landing fuel :) I can't recall now if my flight was 900kg over or under but in the grand scale of things.. it was well within parameters :)

All things considered, we're looking at a free model running on a £40 game but.. if the real one can do a particular flight, the model should be able to do it too ;-)

BTW.. does anyone else remember Dan ditching pax over the side on one of his early flights??
