As the note says Mossies on tele. Which airfield was that filmed at? It reminds me of Cosford for some reason. :dunno:

I was on 617 Gliding School as an instructor at Bovingdon for some time...Got a bit tricky if you picked up a thermal in the Barge...It was right under the holding stack and you needed to keep an ear open for Vanguard Tynes among others :flying:

You may have shot at them! :flying:
They had been target-towers for Chivenor. Flying from Exeter; the film's premiere was there and we mounted the guard of honour for that reason.
