BAAH!!!

Issue raising it's head again. Started an IFR from Haynes to Kelowna. Attained FL200, and after 5 minutes the port engine and Genny packed up, followed by the starboard. Now, ALL checks and swiches were correct!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was using real weather, cruising at about 180kts, with a wind of 62kts, slight if any turb. What I don't understand is the randomness of this?

Is there sometihing I am doing wrong and not realising it?

At Dan Air the Budgie was seldom flown above Sixteen thousand even empty - the pressurization had a low max differential
(around 5.5psi) The Low teens were the normal max operating altitudes.

Thanks Leif - you may have cracked it for me...

Despite my regulalry doing FL200, I reset the flight on real wather, got to FL160, set course, and then went and got my hair cut - got back and all was well, so it seems altitude has an effect on this - so thanks! :)
