hmm.. odd that you can't really see the orange door on the side on shot (6th window after the break). I had my glasses on too when I checked last night :lol:

Hi Ian, Yes, I hadn't spotted that. I wonder was the door painted during the course of the week? Unless there were two which wore that scheme, but I was pretty sure it was just SGA... :dunno:

Just checked silent Swift Superb and it seems SGA had the door painted Grey at some stage. It was orange originally from June '64.

I wondered if the visual anomaly on teh VC10's tail was something as simple as the angle that the light was catching it at? It looks like hes got a bit of left rudder on and that would turn the leading edge more towards the camera. If it was particularly catching the light then might that not account for it? :think:
