Hey Trev, do you do commisions?

The Gladiator is fantastic.

Hi Tom, long time no see!
I am happy to look into commisions (but I am not sure if the stuff is really good enough to charge money for yet :$ ) in the near future, and would be open to suggestions, if you have any. In an ideal world, I would use photos as a basis, but the location or weather etc. is totally interchangeable. At the moment, until I get better, I am avoiding aircraft with complicated lettering etc.

In the longer term, (and after a bit more practice) I would like to offer paintings to aircraft owners/pilots for 'reasonable' prices. Just to be able to offer people a 'dedicated' original painting, without paying the 1000 or so quid that the real pro painters charge.

Did you see the Percivals in the other post? These were my first two attempts!

Hi Trev

Love the Sea Prince! You can't beat a bit of day-glo :)

I've been thinking about a painting of our Tiger for a while. I don't think she's too complicated:

Well Trev, if you don't mind painting something non-British, I'd take you up on one those

Cheers

Tom,
That Tiger is no real problem, just the sort of photo I like to work from in fact! Do you have a big version? It might just be the basis for my next 'practice' painting.

Rich, non-Brits are not a problem, just my own preference! Are you thinking Yak per chance?

Thanks Charlie, I have just had a look over there! Most of it makes my stuff look like a 5 year olds crayon painting  , but I will join up there anyway. I might get a few tips!

Trev, I must add to this; what a talent you have ! That Beverly is terrific. The rest are too, but the Bev is my favourite. You don't happen to be in the Guild of Aviation Artists, do you ?
