Re: UKMil no more?
I am on an Overseas Deployment at the moment and have only just heard about the closure a little miffed but its Dave's decision. Just came as a surprise as I saw no hint that it was coming to this, I have personally had no complaints maybe because I work on Nimrods so would be hard for someone else to be an expert.
I'm still going to produce the Nimrods. But we need a new home.
I was thinking of going alone?
but I'm not sure

Matt
If you need somewhere to display your wares until UKmil reopens shop - we would be pleased to
take them at "The Pond" _- Cameron has already dropped some paints off over there. So as a
stop gap , we will be pleased to help.
Cheers

if you read my long post, i said DONATIONS had been returned, not club signups. You still have access to all the club areas, which is the reason i have left the site open. You still get a lot of files non club members get, and use of the server etc. the only thing you do not get anymore is previews of new items, as there are none.biplaneflyer wrote:Joined 28th Feb - less than a month- no refund recieved as of yet. I can understand your frustrations -but maybe a little bit more warning to club members would have at least shown you had some consideration towards those that had supported your site financially in the past.
so, it is still a lifetime membership, you can go on UKMIL site as long as you wish, and get the benefits. :brick:

Hi DC,
Once again thank you for UKMIL, I hope that you will reopen, but in the mean time have a safe tour down south, no chasing penguins,

It was not said here, but he knows from elsewhere
anyway, more news, I have decided to reopen the forums for CLUB MEMBERS now, so you get even more for your membership.
there is also news from behind the scenes on a team that may take over the site.
