Britain's greatest UFO mystery...it says here.

Post by Paul K »

Interesting article and a very interesting, if grainy, photo. Looks like an F-4 coming to investigate.

Very odd.

I'm always intrigued why, if Aliens have the tech to travel interstellar distances, they need lights on their ships when over 'us'...... abd similarly, if anyone is testing some top-secret aircraft, why fly over central Glasgow/London, or hover over some other town? And, if the Record had these images, where have they been for the last 18 years? Puzzles me!

Obviously your not a Douglas Adams fan ....They were of course "teasers" the alien equivalent of mooning complete strangers.............

My thought is If there is intelligence lie out there why it would want to come and see this place ....UNLESS it is for
comedic relief.

The reason why we've not had first contact is because the Aliens come over for a a shufty, take one look and go " whoa! f*** that!"

Actually, in truth, I don't know - which isn't to say I believe or not.... I'm sure there are loads of credible honest people who've seen some pretty oddball stuff - I myself HAVE seen something in the air I've no idea what it was - but I wouldn't say it was alien or 'project x' either....

In all honesty, some of the stuff on the web is a good read - but at the end of the day, there's a lot of rubbish out there, and nothing of note has ever came to light to prove one way or 'tother......

As regards the start of this thread, It's the first mention I've ever heard of something happening there - and curiously, a lot of these 'sensational' stories seem to surface years after the event, leading one to wonder why all the witnesses kept schtum, and (as in this instance) rags normally only to eager to print dubious material seem not to at the time despite allegedly having evidence......

Well to be fair, the story hasn't just surfaced years after the event...its a recently declassified MoD document. As for the witnesses, how long do you keep telling all and sundry about it, if nobody else wants to listen anymore ? Its an interesting photo, you've got to admit.
