A little bit choppy out there :roll:
I would have though quite a bit of work needed on that chopper before further flight and not much better for the fighter either :think:

I met an ex-Helicopter Crew Captain who served aboard the "Sh*tty Kitty". They always parked one of the helos out there on the end of the deck (it was an SH-3 Sea King when he was in). They went through a typhoon (standard US Navy procedure- everyone but the Carrier goes around) and the problem wasn't that the helicopter was out there, it was the fact that he and 2 other crewmen had to go out every 2-3 hours and check the tiedowns. They rigged a rope from one of the tiedowns to the aft superstructure hatch (the only hatch they were allowed to use) and literally climbed the rope to the helicopter.
