New Felixstowe F2A ...

Post by jensbk »

Hello all,

Earlier today, I uploaded a new model of the Felixstowe F2A patrol flying boat of WW1 vintage to Avsim, and it is ready for download now. I hope you like it.

Best regards

<- 2 hours into a flight - after departing from Short Bros slip at Belfast I have JUST passed the Lighthouse on the southern tip of the IOM - 3000 Feet 2000rpm and a blistering 57knot ground speed at this rate I should make Calshot
by next week.....Jens its a pleasure to handfly and trims out beautifully - no need for the slightly fictional autopilot
Im going to let the right hand Johny fly her for a while I get some tea and sarnies.....Pure bloody escapism!!!!

Yes Tonks I know its not real....but it so much fun to be sitting here in the desert pretending to be huddled down in a
cold, windy open cockpit with a pair of Liberties roaring away right behind you!!!

Thanks Jen - its a lot of Fun
