Howdy once again, folks! It's been a while since I last visited, but I'm back and hope to be able to start flying again before too long. There has been a lot going on around here in the last few months, including moving from our apartment in the Los Angeles basin to a house in Lancaster, California that we're renting from my wife's grandparents. It was only a 75 mile (120km) move but ended up being more hassle than moving across country was! Reminded me just how much I despise the moving process.
On another front I am now officially retired on disability. After over 2-1/2 years the Social Security Administration finally approved my disability claim. It's a great relief since those monthly benefit checks will really come in handy at bill paying time.
Anyhow, I really look forward to getting back into the (virtual) pilot's seat and logging some hours! Maybe I'll treat myself to a good yoke and throttle quadrant setup...
Gee, this place looks familiar...
