That's a simply amazing picture, Peter. I don't think I've got the time to go that far - at least until I retire  I've only got four amphibians at Lake Hood and four GA at the strip - all flying patterns. It doesn't sound very much in view of your pictures, but the sky still looks busy and they often have to hold for landing traffic! As most of my flying is in big jets, I just wanted some GA for background movement so I think I'll just leave it at that for now!

If I want to develop it further, I know where to come! Thank you.

Ian :)

Careful using amphibians as Traffic on water Ian...They normally will put their wheels down and land on the water's surface instead of in it. They have to have some sort of special treatment to stop them doing that, and then they will not put them down to land on land. Normally you have to have amphibs in two models...one for landing on water and one for landing on land :flying:

My correction, Peter. I was writing in a hurry! I didn't mean amphibians because I've already found out about their 'miracle' AI capability of walking on water  I just meant regular floatplanes. BTW can you recommend any scenery enhancements for the Anchorage area? I've picked up a freeware PANC airport and the Lake Hood enhancement from Avsim. Is there anything that is unmissable that I've missed? What's Alaska Cinematic?

Ian :)

No I don't think so Nigel...I think those two things below are rear view mirrors :)

That's right Garry, I have Vols 1 and 2 of Alaska Cinematic...I think it is now being worked on for FSX.

Here is the pointer for Vol 2:-
